KP Astrology: will it happen, and when?
KP Astrology — Krishnamurti Paddhati — was developed by Prof. K. S. Krishnamurti from a strictly logical, research-driven approach. Where traditional systems read a chart as a portrait, KP treats it as a decision tree. Each of the 27 nakshatras is divided into nine unequal parts, and each part is governed by a planet called a sub-lord. That subdivision is what makes KP different.
Because every planet's influence can be traced down to this fine a level, a plain question — will I get this job, will the business take off, will this relationship last — can be checked against the planets that actually signify it, and then timed through the relevant dasha periods. KP is often called prolific precisely because it returns decisive rather than vague answers.

Built to answer one question at a time
KP is not a general-purpose reading. It is most useful when you are weighing something concrete and the real question is whether it will happen — and when. The four areas it is asked about most often are:
- Job and career moves — will this offer come through, is the promotion realistic, is switching field the right move, and in which period.
- Business timing — whether to launch now or wait, whether a partnership holds together, and which window supports expansion.
- Marriage and compatibility — whether a relationship will proceed, the likely timing of marriage, and how two charts interact over time.
- Property and investment — whether a purchase or deal is advisable, and which period carries the least risk for you.
Written around your questions
KP readings work best when you arrive with a short, specific list. Each question is treated on its own — the planets signifying that particular matter are identified, the promise of fulfilment is weighed, and the timing is read from the relevant dasha sequence. That is why you are encouraged to write down two or three priorities before the session begins.
In practice, most clients find that once two questions are answered properly, the rest of their uncertainty resolves itself.
Birth time accuracy is essential
Because KP resolves the chart to this level of detail, even a few minutes of error can change the sub-lords that decide the timing of an event. Please check your birth certificate or hospital record before booking. If the time is uncertain, that is said plainly at the start of the reading and the analysis stays with what can reliably be supported.
Please do not guess a convenient time in order to get a better answer — an invented time reliably produces an invented conclusion.
KP Astrology sessions near you
Consultations are held in person at the Borivali studio in Mumbai, and online by phone or video call for clients in Pune, Nagpur, Delhi-NCR and overseas. Sessions run six days a week and are booked by appointment, so there is no waiting room and no other client heard in the background.
Trusted by clients across Mumbai
The KP practice has grown almost entirely through people returning with their next question — a second career decision after the first, a marriage window after a job change, a partnership after a property purchase. The value is not in a single verdict but in having a system that can be applied again, and applied the same way each time.
Read alongside Vedic and dasha
KP is never read on its own. Vedic astrology supplies the wider context — your nature, themes and periods — so a Yes is understood in the context of the life it lands in, and a No is understood as "not in this period" rather than "never". Dasha periods supply the window in which the answer arrives, so the timing is confirmed at period level before it is stated at event level.

What you can expect from a KP reading
A KP session is structured rather than conversational, because the method only works when each question is isolated:
- Sub-lord analysis — the chart resolved to sub-lord level, which is finer than any other system in use.
- Significators per question — the planets that actually carry the promise for that specific matter.
- Planetary strength — whether those significators are strong enough to deliver, which is where a clear No comes from.
- Rahu and Ketu reading — nodal periods checked separately, since they frequently carry the event on their own.
- Dasha sequence for timing — the period in which the answer actually arrives.
- Cross-checked — Vedic and the dasha sequence are used to confirm or qualify the finding before anything is said.
How KP differs from other systems
There is no contest between the systems; they answer different questions. Vedic gives the whole picture — nature, themes, periods. KP subdivides the chart far enough to give a decisive, timed answer to one specific question. Used together they are considerably stronger than either alone, which is why the conclusion is only given after both have been read.
Client Testimonials
I had two offers and could not tell which to take. The KP reading did not hedge — it showed which significators were actually strong and which period carried them. I took the one it pointed to and it is still the right decision two years on.
What surprised me was how specific it was. I expected a general reading and got an answer about one question, with the reason. I also appreciated being told what my chart could not reliably answer because of my birth time.
Went in nervous about a marriage question and left with a timeframe and a clear explanation of why. It has been four months and the timeline is holding. That kind of honesty is rarer than it should be.
